Manually update ChromebooksManually Check for Updates

1. Click the clock tray in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Click Settings icon.
3. Click  Settings
4. ClickAbout Chrome OS.
5. Under “Google Chrome OS,” click Check for Updates.
6. You will see the message that “Your Chromebook is up-to-date” or if your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically. (Usually takes about 5 minutes.)
7. A restart will be required to complete the update.
